Obituary

Bonnie L. Stowe, age 69, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 25, 2019, surrounded by loved ones who held her hand as she peacefully passed on to Heaven. Bonnie was born September 25, 1949 in Muscatine, Iowa to Willard and Edith (Wakefield) Mack. She married Glen Stowe, the one true love of her life, on January 21, 1995 in Moline, Illinois. Together they turned a house into a home, filled with memories and love. Their lives revolved around family, having opened their doors to many down through the years. If asked to use one word to describe Bonnie, TOUGH would be at the top of the list. She was a warrior and could do anything she put her mind to. She fought long and hard, always worrying about those she would leave behind. She fought with dignity and pride. She loved with her whole heart. She was constantly busy being a homemaker extraordinaire. When she wasn't cleaning, cooking, or caring for her family, she could be found reupholstering furniture, sewing, working on a new craft project, or loving on her two cats, Bessye and Barnaby Jones. Words cannot describe the impact she had on all the lives she touched. Lives forever changed by her passing. Bonnie was blessed with a family who loved and cared for her until the very end. She was also blessed with a very special hospice team, especially her nurse, Kim. Her family is forever grateful for the love and selflessness of her care team from St. Croix Hospice.

Those left to honor her memory are her husband: Glen of New Auburn; daughters & son-in-laws: Laura (Ron) Turcsak of Davenport IA, Paris (Jesse) Johnson of Grantsburg WI, Angie (Terry) LeVan of Rice Lake WI;
sister: Mary Brunett of Bettendorf IA; grandchildren and their spouses: Dalen Turcsak Davenport IA, Sean Turcsak Chippewa Falls WI, Aliza (John) Coppinger Davenport IA, Sierra (Jason) Johnson Grantsburg WI, Joseph Johnson Grantsburg WI, Jonathan Johnson Grantsburg WI, Deserae Teem New Auburn WI, Devon (Cheyane) Merz Bloomer WI, Draven Merz New Auburn WI; great grandchildren: Jayda, Chase, Noah, and Charlie Mae

She was preceded in death by her parents: Willard and Edith Mack; sisters and brother-in-laws: Wanda (John) Hyde and Linda (Gerald) Brendel; granddaughter: Kelsey Johnson.

A visitation will be on Saturday May 4, 2019 from1:00pm-4:00pm at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with the funeral service at 4:00 pm. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com

Bonnie was, and is such a loving person. Her love of her family and life surely showed.

Glenn, the love you have for one another was always meant to be. God always has our lives planned before we are aware of the sequence. We cannot say sorry, but ask you to have faith in the 'Almighty' to heal the pain in all of your hearts. She no longer suffers from the pains of the human body, but grew her wings.

Remember that her spirit is always with you, though she has shed the shell.
Always keep your eyes and ears wide open and you will see and smell her in your surrounding.
Watch for her in the Sun, clouds, and nature of earth.
You will see, feel and hear her as she flies with the butterflies and sings with the birds.
You may smell her cooking breakfast somedays and even smell her fragrance as she shows her presence.
She is in the wind as it blows and walking by your side. Her light shines on you and spirit talks to you as she watches over you as you sleep.
Remember that it is okay to cry as the bible says:
There will always be:
“A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance” (Ecclesiastes 3:4).

I can still her as she and her sisters tried to help us put on our make up and do our hair. It ended up being the other way around. We had so much fun with them all.
Thank God for those memories we can share.

She is and always will be with you here on earth and walk along with you all as you climb the stairway to Heaven to be greeting by our Heavenly Father.

Love and Hugs to all of you.
